 National Conference Additional General Secretary and Former Minister MrAjay Kumar Sadhotra today called for building a future that embraces diversity and ensures prosperityfor all sections of society across Jammu and Kashmir.Welcoming S Pardeep Singh Sarpanch of Lachipura Panchayat in the party fold at a special functionheld here at Lachipura Kathua, Mr Sadhotra said such an enabling atmosphere can only be created bythe National Conference that stands committed to inclusive growth, development and progress of allthe regions and sub-regions, irrespective of religion and caste.
The Additional General Secretary said that realization is fast dawning upon progressive, forwardlooking and peace-loving people to isolate divisive forces like the BJP and work for strengthening thebonds of amity and brotherhood in a pluralistic Region of the Country like Jammu and Kashmir.“The people are disgusted and dejected with BJP for believing in politics of hate and understand thatreactionary political pursuits can only lead to chaos and crisis, which the country is currentlywitnessing”, Mr Sadhotra said.Referring to the joining of hundreds of prominent persons along with Sarpanch Pardeep Singh intothe party fold, Mr Sadhotra said that National Conference is the only and natural choice for publicspirited-activists because of its pro-people agenda, secular credentials and commitment tomaintaining and preserving singular entity of Jammu and Kashmir.He recalled the services of late Giani Ishar Singh Ji’s contribution towards the society. 
He said thosejoining the National Conference will feel a fresh breeze of inclusiveness, togetherness andcamaraderie, which can’t be fort of any other political party. He hoped that joining of right thinkingpeople will not only strengthen the National Conference but also generate an atmosphere of trustand confidence in the society.“National Conference has a track record of maintaining peace and tranquility even in adversesituations and during most testing times”, he said and asserted that that the party will continue toplay its assigned role. The regional unity and communal harmony will continue to guide the cadre, hesaid adding that public welfare has all along been its focused agenda.
The Former Minister expressed concern over various problems confronted to the people; especiallythose living in remote and far off areas and feared that sadistic delay in addressing these will furtheralienate the dejected masses and create a scenario that will be difficult to tackle.“We sincerely hope good sense to prevail upon the votaries of the double engine government so thatJammu and Kashmir is steered out of the prevailing difficult situation in the wake of inflation, growingunemployment, drinking water and power scarcity, besides despondency among the daily ratedworkers, who have been running helper shelter for regularization ”, Mr Sadhotra said.National Conference leader along with functionaries of Kathua district visited the house of Yash Pal atNagri Parole, Mrs Neelam Sharma Provincial Vice President Women Wing at Parliwand Kathua whoinquired about their health and prayed for early recovery. He also visited the house of late Som RajMajotra to express his condolences to his family who died few days back. Mr Sadhotra also visitedBushan Sarpanch of Bopia to console the death of his mother.Many delegations met NC leader and put before him the day to day problems being faced by them.
